Sitting on a boat shape mound overlooking the massive delta is the palace with its brightly painted onion domes glistening in the hot tropic sun. Its solid walls extend deep into the ground creating a lake in the lowest levels, and several stories above the mound. A rocky road leads across the islands formed by thousands of artificial and natural channels lined with river-rocks. Raised stone bridges cross the wetlands from East to West with the palace South of the road.
